Coyo's Homecoming Shower and Grandparents' Visit from LA

Coyotito has now been home almost as long as he was in the NICU. Last doctor's visit he was up to 8 pounds and 10 ounces...OVER TWICE AS MUCH AS HIS BIRTH WEIGHT! Our little warrior continues to grow and thrive.

Grandma and Grandpa Tena from LA came to visit over the weekend, and *boy* were they happy to be able to finally hold their grandson.

Last Saturday was also his Homecoming Shower organized by Tita Melissa & Tita Jessica. The fun started when Grandma and Grandpa Shah AKA Mamang and Papaji came over.

Abdi and Juan put much thought and love into planning a ceremonia that was the perfect way to welcome our son to Oakland and nuestra comunidad.

Many friends and family came over to give Coyotito lots of love... including some NICU nurses like Juliet.

Grandpas' Toast!

Papí's Uncle Richard and Auntie Hilda also came through for the festivities.

SOOOOO CUTE!!!

Having breakfast at Coyotito's favorite restaurant (and the only one he has been to!) Cock-a-Doodle Cafe.

Josh and Vero came by to introduce Coyotito to the happiest baby in Oakland, Maya Olivia.

"Hi Grandma!"

Happy Grandparents

He sure looks like he had a fun weekend... trust us, he's having fun!

Thanks to everyone who came out to share love and blessings this past weekend, especially to Mel and Jess for putting together the shower, and Abdi and Juan for leading us through the ceremonia! ¡Muchas gracias a todos!
